Jam jars store jam, the Sun Jar collects and stores sunshine so that you can use it at night! Made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting. Inside the jar are a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.

    What SUCK UK do... (the short version)
    'Established in 2000' may be overstating it a little but about then, Sam and Jude began making and selling their own brand of original gifts and accessories from their kitchen floor in North London. Production was set back by an unexpected eviction late one night, but they came back - though not to the flat! - to build up the reputation we know today. They swapped the kitchen floor for a head office in East London, and traded their homemade equipment for a network of suppliers and manufacturers in the UK and the Far East. Backed by a team of designers, and supplying stores around the world, they continue to mix their sense of humour with their sense of style to come up with the kind of unique, quirky products that made their reputation.

    Love the concept behind this light and it works really well had a big issue leaving it outside though. When it rains - it wasn't waterproof as we had thought, it leaked and we were always trying to get all the water out. The clip also started to corrode.

    Returns & Exchange

    If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with an item, you can return it for an exchange, store credit or a full refund — provided the items are in the original packaging and saleable condition.
    - To receive store credit from an item due to a change of mind, simply return the item within 60 days of purchase (must be in an ‘as new’ condition).
    - If you require a refund for your purchase, you will need to contact us within 14 days.
    - You will be responsible for any shipping on change of mind exchanges.
