EGOEnthusiasm, surprise, dynamic and flexibility. There are the buzzwords for the Danish design-duo; Michael Bruun and Designer Steffen Schmelling. The synergy between the two is unique and the end users are moved by the design objects. The manner of speaking is sharp but loving. It is easy to feel the inspiration and common understanding of design between Michael Bruun and Steffen Schmelling.
Steffen and Michael have known each other for 15 years, from Michael's time as Commercial Manager at one of the biggest Danish wholesalers, and their relationship is influenced by this. Michael thinks sale and production skills, push the ideas and pulls Steffen back, when he is moving to far out of the creative process of thought. Steffen pushed Michael, when he becomes too business oriented.
A clear profile for what Michael wanted with his Design Company and brand was already defined five years ago, when the company saw the light of the day. The idea was to create international design style. To create things that moves the prevalent perception of design, of use of materials and function.
"We believe that the way to go is by open dialogue. That is the dialogue with the designers, producers as well as customers - and as long as it is fun and from the start we have the clear goal of styling our idea, then we are willing to try it," Michael Bruun points out.

All orders are shipped through Australian Air Express which is barcoded and trackable. If the packed article is too large - it is then shipped via courier.
Standard shipping within Australia is a flat rate of AU$14.00 per order*
Express shipping within Australia is a flat rate of AU$26.00 per order*

Items marked as bulky item incur additional costs, calculated based on weight and size to your destination. Shiiping charges will be added to your order OR pick up from our Crows Nest warehouse.

Special order items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Delivery times vary from a few days to 12+ weeks, a staff member will contact you to advise.

Standard delivery: up to 5-8 business daysDeliveries are made Monday through Friday only.
Express post ships over night, however please allow an extra day for processing and preparation of your order. Most express orders leave same day and we will contact you if this is not possible with your selection.

delivery of your goods within Australia
All parcels are sent via Australian Air Express within Australia. All parcels need to be signed for on delivery, so we recommend use of a business address if there will not be someone home during business hours. If your parcel cannot be delivered you will receive a notification card and and you will need to make alternative arrangements for collection with the courier. If not collected, it may be returned to top3 by design and any re-delivery charges will be charged to the customer.You can check on the progress of your delivery any time using the link sent to you via email upon dispatch of your order. International deliveries + bulky items
All shipping is calculated as flat rate and quoted for Australian delivery. Any International deliveries or items marked as "bulky" or "additional shipping may apply" will be calculated based on goods and destination and charged at checkout. If, in the rare situation that delivery costs exceed your expectations and you wish to cancel the order, top3 by design will fully refund the amount currently charged to your card on that order.
RETURNS + EXCHANGES POLICY
Your satisfaction is our main concern. If you are unhappy with an item you can return it for an exchange, store credit or refund which will be issued in the same form as the original payment, within 14 calendar days of the receipt.
Customer satisfaction
It is very important to us that Top3 by design customers are satisfied with their purchase and understand our terms and conditions. Please read the following policy regarding returns and exchanges. If you remain in any way uncertain, please call or email us.The product you return must be in: new, unused, pristine and unmarked condition, with all the original packaging in unmarked, saleable condition. Proof of purchase must be provided for all returns. Proof of purchase can be in the form of a receipt, credit card statement, or top3 membership ID if the item has been purchased on your top3 membership.
Special Order items (which are indicated online as such) are not able to be returned or exchanged, as they are ordered by customer request.
Products can be returned instore or to our warehouse. If you are sending the item back to the top3 warehouse please notify us before you return the item by phone (1300 867 333) or email (orders@top3.com.au) so we can provide you with a returns form and the instructions for returning your items. If you would like to request an exchange you can let us know at this time of your new selection, so we are able to reserve this for you.
Faulty items: If you receive an item that you consider to be flawed or faulty upon delivery, please contact us immediately to discuss its repair or replacement by either phone (1300 867 333) or email (orders@top3.com.au).
top3 by design is not responsible for any item that is not returned in a new, unused and unmarked condition. We do not sell imperfect items and will not accept the return of any item, which is considered marked or imperfect. Please also note that packaging is an inherent part of the product, and a full refund or credit will not be issued if the packaging is not returned.
