The Glide Gourmet Knife was born from Anita's frustrations using pate knives with no balance. Winner of 2009 Tasmanian Design Award and The People's Choice Award, Dineen was the first to take out both awards, first female to win and the first to win with a metal object.
This beautiful and tactile design is made in Tasmania from high quality stainless steel and presented in a unique recycled card giftbox. It is a thoughtful design inspired by the winged seed of the Sycamore tree and will bring balance and beauty to your table with its inspiration taken from the garden.

Anita DineenThis creative Tasmanian began exploring life in the 70's with her three sisters on their family sheep property in the State's north. Intentions to become a wool classer eventually faded as she discovered her affinity for working with precious metals.
Anita completed four years of jewellery and sculpture study at art school in the early 90's, before dropping anchor at a studio in the Hunter Island Design Centre (now the Henry Jones Art Hotel) and later in the Salamanca Arts Centre.
After embarking on travels around the world, she has once again, found home on the island. With husband Luke and Guinea fowl Gonzo & Beaker, Anita is content creating award winning pieces in her studio overlooking Launceston.
