ENTRIES CLOSED for the prestigious Bombay Sapphire Design Discover Awards 2010.

JUDGES: NEALE WHITTAKER (Belle Magazine), TERRI WINTER (top3 by design), HEIDI DOKULIL (Parcel), KEES DORST (Associate Dean Research and Professor of Design, UTS), EWAN MCEOIN (propeller), LIANE ROSLER (Dinosaur designs), JENNIFER SAUNDERS and BELINDA SEPER

The judges are specifically looking for a new functional design piece from each entrant that should:
- Push the boundaries of current design thinking.
- Be your own original ideas that reflect your own personal style.
- Be work that can be promoted as authentically Australian and that reflects our unique positioning in the world.
- Be fully resolved so it can be manufactured and retailed.

The Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Winner will receive:
- $30,000 as financial support for continuing development
- A return economy airfare to Milan, Italy to attend the Salone del Mobile
- 5 nights accommodation in Milan, Italy

The 4 runners up in the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award will receive: $2,500

The further 5 top ten finalists of the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award will each receive: $1,000
